Venue

Located in the heart of the state Hesse in central Germany, Wetzlar straddles the River Lahn just 30 miles north of Frankfurt. Having served as an economic and cultural hub of the region since medieval times, it is now best known for its optics industry and its association with Germany’s national poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. With a population of just over 56,000 people, Wetzlar remains a favourite destination among visitors, who are attracted not only by its historic old town and cathedral, but also by the beautiful scenery of the Lahn valley.
For more details, visit Wetzlar at www.wetzlar.de and www.wetzlar-kongress.de.

The WINPACCS Symposium will take place in the conference facilities of the Wetzlarer Hof hotel and the nearby Stadthalle Wetzlar. With stunning views of Wetzlar’s historic old town and a welcoming atmosphere, the venue provides the perfect setting for this long-standing WINPACCS event.
