Development cooperation organisations face the daily challenge of efficiently managing complex tasks whilst fulfilling their mandate to the best of their ability. Artificial intelligence opens up new possibilities for making processes more efficient and providing targeted support to people in their day-to-day tasks. At WINPACCS, we see Artificial Intelligence as a tool designed to create tangible added value for our customers. We are therefore constantly exploring how Artificial Intelligence can be meaningfully integrated into our work with WINPACCS. In doing so, we use artificial intelligence ethically, responsibly and with a focus on the actual benefits for our users. We develop appropriate measures for this in collaboration with our customers. Our ‘Artificial Intelligence’ key-user meeting plays an important role in this regard, serving as a forum for gathering and discussing requirements. Initial measures in this area have already been successfully implemented.
Automated Translation of Posting Texts with DeepL
WINPACCS’s AI-powered translation function allows transaction texts to be automatically translated from the relevant local language into the desired target language. The translation takes place in the background via integration with DeepL and can then be edited and saved as required.
The original transaction text remains unchanged, so it can be traced at any time. For donor reports, the desired report language can be selected. This makes it easier to meet the varying language requirements of donors.
WINPACCS currently supports automatic translation from 33 languages, thereby facilitating collaboration across national and linguistic boundaries. The anonymised processing of content also ensures a high level of data protection.
