Data exchange between project accounting and financial accounting

WINPACCS offers a standard interface to many financial accounting systems, whereby postings from the project accounting can be forwarded to financial accounting and postings can be uploaded from financial accounting.

Data Transfer from the Company Accounting

  • Configuration of the interface for the requirements of the company accounting
  • Updating of an assignment table for automatic assignment of accounts from the company accounting to accounts of the WINPACCS main chart of accounts
  • Downloading of the data from the company accounting and splitting of the postings based on projects and fundings
  • Automatic forwarding of the data to WINPACCS Controlling
  • Detailed logging of the copying process
  • Works in accordance with German Principles of Orderly Accounting (GOB)

Forward data to the Company Accounting

  • Configuration of the interface for the requirements of the company accounting
  • Updating of an assignment table for automatic assignment of accounts from the WINPACCS main chart of accounts to the accounts of the company accounting
  • Forwarding of end-of-period accounts to the company accounting
  • Option to forwarding postings in the form of individual vouchers or balances
  • Detailed logging of the copying process
  • Works in accordance with German Principles of Orderly Accounting (GOB)

Mutual trust and excellent cooperation with the WINPACCS team resulted in versatile interfaces for vouchers, projects and budget structures. The interfaces communicate data reliably and securely between our SAP-based company accounting and WINPACCS. State-of-the-art technology now allows us to produce real-time evaluations in all of the systems involved.

Since every extension is backward compatible, mbi can continue developing the interfaces. The design aspects of our requirements are always carefully considered and optimally implemented in this development process. And as the interfaces are also employed in our development and test systems, we can perfectly adapt and test our functions in the SAP system. This works smoothly even after creating system backups.
