DVV international
DVV International is the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association.
The DVV represents the interests of the approximately 930 “Volkshochschulen” and their state associations which are the largest providers of further education in Germany. DVV International is the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association (DVV). As a leading professional organisation in the field of adult education and development cooperation, DVV International has been committed to lifelong learning for more than 50 years. The Institute works with more than 200 partners in over 30 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe.
When the development of the software previously in use for project accounting was discontinued, DVV International was obliged to look for a replacement system.
In November 2012, after a lengthy decision-making process, DVV International chose WINPACCS. mbi consultants accompanied DVV during a set-up phase and a subsequent train-the-trainer course to prepare DVV personnel to use the system.
The subsequent roll-out of the system in projects worldwide was carried out almost exclusively by DVV's own staff, who trained the local specialists in its use in a very competent and committed manner.
After an extensive evaluation phase, we decided on WINPACCS Cloud. The decisive factor is the application’s focus on the requirements of international organisations in development cooperation. Even after the successful rollout phase, we feel very well looked after and advised by mbi. Our support enquiries are answered competently and directly. And our needs are also taken into account in the further development of the application and we feel well advised.
