The Project finance manager works in a regional or head office and is in charge of high-level financial matters for various projects, e.g. creating journals for the Project accounting and setting up bank accounts and fundings. This person also monitors the Project accounting using the dual-control principle and releases postings for integration into the Company accounting.
This role includes the rights to edit the project chart of accounts, fundings, bank details, journals and cashbooks. The individual can also view the project's financial data and release or reject accounting data after an audit.
