Project finance manager
The “Project finance manager“ is a responsible member of staff in a regional or head office, who is in charge of high-level financial matters for various projects. For example, the individual creates journals for the Project accounting as well as setting up bank accounts and fundings. This person also monitors the Project accounting using the dual-control principle and releases the postings to be incorporated into the Company accounting.
This role includes the rights to edit the project chart of accounts, the fundings, the bank details, the journals and cashbooks. The individual can also view the project's financial data and release or reject accounting data after an audit.
