The financial accountant at head office is responsible for the central accounting functions of a humanitarian organisation. They consolidate the accounting data from the countries, monitor compliance with internal guidelines and statutory requirements, and prepare the financial statements for the organisation as a whole. In doing so, they work closely with the accountants in the branches, as well as with senior management and external auditors.
This role will only become available once the new financial accounting system has been introduced.
