The aid organisation supports women and girls who have experienced sexualised violence, regardless of political, ethnic or religious affiliation. Together with women from all over the world, since it was set up in 1993 medica mondiale has been committed to helping women lead dignified and self-determined lives.
medica mondiale has been working with WINPACCS in the regional office in Burundi since the end of 2014. A roll out in further projects in Iraq took place in Autumn 2016.
