The WINPACCS Symposium 2017 was held on 8 November in Wetzlar and attracted a higher number of visitors than last year with 80 participants from home and abroad. To open up the event to overseas visitors, some of the workshops were held in English and the plenary sessions offered simultaneous interpreting.
Following the keynote speech from GIZ Head of IT, Dr Erik Heinen-Konschak, on the topic of digital change, the Symposium’s participants focused completely on WINPACCS.
A broad range of workshops made for a diverse and informative programme, the most popular topics were again digital voucher entry and data exchange with the company accounting.
Many participants were highly impressed with the way WINPACCS customers were integrated into the workshops, thus allowing them to report directly about their work in the field. Our customers therefore played a key role in the success of the event, embodying the Symposium’s motto: Sharing Competence. We’re very grateful for this.
One fruit that was born of the Symposium is the launch of a WINPACCS channel on Youtube. We filmed some workshops to make them available to a wider audience. The first video - a live overview of WINPACCS accounting 4.0 by our Senior Consultant André Scharmann – is already available here. Using this, as well as further videos, we want to provide anyone interested with an insight into WINPACCS and support our customers in using it.
