WINPACCS Seminar Core Functions



This five-day in-person training course at our training centre in Wetzlar offers you a practical introduction to the core functions of WINPACCS. You will familiarise yourself with the most important areas of the software – from Project and Programme Management through to Project Accounting and Project Controlling. Typical workflows are clearly explained through demonstrations and practical exercises. By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation for the confident use of WINPACCS’s Project Administration, Finance and Controlling functions.

Day 1: Fundamentals of Project Administration and Programme Management
Learn how to create and structure projects and programmes in WINPACCS, and how to manage master data.

Day 2: Introduction to Project Accounting
Familiarise yourself with the basics of project accounting and record typical business transactions in WINPACCS Accounting.

Day 3: Working with Cashbooks and Partnerbooks and preparing closings

Learn how to perform postings for receivables and payables in WINPACCS Accounting. You will also learn how to transfer and perform postings from Cashbooks and Partnerbooks, as well as how to prepare day-end and month-end closings.

Day 4: Planning and monitoring project budgets and preparing donor reports
Learn how to manage project budgets, carry out target-actual comparisons and prepare reports in line with your donors’ requirements.

Day 5: Evaluating the organisation, programmes and project groups
Learn how to create and evaluate budgets and reports for the entire organisation, programmes and project groups. Gain an insight into further features of WINPACCS.

Target audience

This training course is aimed at users who are looking for a practical introduction to working with WINPACCS and wish to familiarise themselves with the software’s key functions.

Participation

You can register through your organisation's WINPACCS Coordinator. Coordinators can register after logging in to the customer portal.

Participation requirements

  • Experience with PCs and Microsoft Windows.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting is ideal; however, participants do not have to be trained accountants.

Attendance fee

EUR 1500 or EUR 1400 for early bird reservations

Early bird prices apply to reservations made at least three months before the event starts. All prices are exclusive statutory value-added tax.
