Our regular Coordinator information aims to provide you with up-to-date information on WINPACCS and assist you in your role as WINPACCS Coordinator within your organisation.

WINPACCS Cloud 2021.02 – now available

Two weeks ago WINPACCS Cloud was updated to version 2021.02.

From now onwards, the new versions of WINPACCS Accounting 4.4.0 and WINPACCS Cashbook 2.4.0 are available for downloading in the Customer portal.

Numerous improvements have been made.

Project categories have been introduced as a superordinate project characteristic. The idea here is to incorporate project characteristics into the software that already play a major role on the project level. Initially there will be three project categories: "Project", "Office" and "Partner project". Going forward we will add “Programmes” as a fourth project category; the groundwork has already been laid.

When a new bank account is created, the validity of the Bank Identifier Code (BIC) is now checked and basic bank data is completed automatically.

In Project controlling, digital vouchers can now also be uploaded for all postings that are not from Accounting 4.

First Customer forum: Office integration

Our first Customer forum this year will be on the topic of "Integration of offices in WINPACCS". At this event, we’ll show you how we’d like to integrate the use of the "Office” project category into WINPACCS. This Customer forum is your chance to submit change requests and ideas directly to us, as – it goes without saying – we can only design WINPACCS to fit your needs, if we know what they are.

The Customer forum will be held on Friday 13 August from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm as an online event. You can register by sending a brief mail to: beratung@winpaccs.de.

Interface – Company accounting

We are working intensively on the web service-based interface to Company accounting.

Online course for Project accountants now available in French

Thank you for all the positive feedback about our online course. We’re pleased we can offer an additional training option, which is very straightforward. Based on your feedback, we’ve now also developed a French version of the online course and are making it available immediately! Sign up on our website.

Training in 2021

This year there are still two planned weeks of training for Project accountants, Project finance managers and Project controllers. The dates are in September and November:

  • 14. - 17.09.2021 (37th CW)
  • 16. - 19.11.2021 (46th CW)
