Following on from last year’s success, we are again offering you a WINPACCS Customer Day. Join us on 23 October 2018 in Wetzlar Town Hall (Stadthalle Wetzlar)!
A preliminary programme for the day can already be viewed on our website, where you can also register. Registrations can only be made by WINPACCS coordinators. After logging in to our website, you can now sign up further staff from your organisation using the registration form.
We’d be delighted to welcome you as our guest on the previous evening. We’re offering an opportunity to meet and mingle during a short, relaxing guided tour through Wetzlar (starting at 18:30) followed by a meal together (from 19:15).
We showcased the new WINPACCS 2018 to you at our last Customer Day. That’s almost a year ago now and the software has been developed at a rapid pace. Back then, GIZ had already tested the applications in pilot projects. Meanwhile, the worldwide rollout at GIZ has been completed and with WINPACCS accounting 4.0 and WINPACCS cashbook 2.0, GIZ has had great success with the productive use of the first modules of WINPACCS 2018.
We would now like to enable all our customers to use these modules and other WINPACCS 2018 functions.
At the same time, the scheduling for the usage options for new and existing customers differs and depends on the functionalities used.
Below, please find the upgrade schedule for our different target groups and which functionality will be available each time:
New customers can implement WINPACCS 2018 from 2 January 2019:
Many existing customers can start upgrading to WINPACCS 2018 from 1 April 2019:
From 1 August 2019 all other existing customers can start upgrading to WINPACCS 2018:
Furthermore, we would like to provide you with the previously announced functional areas of WINPACCS Organisational Controlling and WINPACCS Project Calendar in WINPACCS online by the end of 2019.
Use the Customer Day on 23 October 2018 in Wetzlar, to obtain detailed information about the new applications and the upgrade to WINPACCS 2018. There will also be plenty of time to ask specific questions.
On Thursday 30 August 2018 we will update WINPACCS online to the new 2018.01 version.
As previously, we incorporated various aspects of your feedback into this new version. Thank you very much for all your contributions!

The new WINPACCS 2018 means we are also updating our range of seminars!
From October our seminars will be based on WINPACCS accounting 4.1, WINPACCS cashbook 2.1 and a pilot version of the new WINPACCS Project Controlling. These seminars are an ideal sneak preview for those who will be supporting the launch and upgrade.
Use your remaining free allotment for 2018 to prepare yourself or your staff for the change in advance.

In May we already gave an online presentation of a draft of the new WINPACCS Project Controlling. Many of you followed our request for feedback on our plans and we would like to say thank you for that!
Since then our design team has made a lot of progress and the technical realisation is already underway. We would now like to present our finalised concept again and give you the chance to make any final comments/wishes for us to incorporate. You are therefore invited to attend an online presentation which we will use to introduce our concept and show you where we currently are with development.
