Food Security and Climate Protection in Nepal
In the remote Salyan District of Nepal, more than 238,000 people live with the daily realities of hunger, poverty and the impacts of climate change. Children are particularly affected: 54% are malnourished, and many families have enough food for only a few months each year. Droughts, landslides and irregular rainfall repeatedly destroy crops and sources of income.
Water Brings Hope Amid Crisis and Climate Change
For many people in northern Mali, daily life is shaped by insecurity, drought and the constant struggle to access water. In the area around Gao in particular, clean drinking water is scarce, while droughts, heavy rainfall and violence further disrupt everyday life. Many families lose their main sources of livelihood as crops fail and livestock herds are damaged.
