WINPACCS integration

Web-services to connect

Description

The WINPACCS master data service is a web service which directly connects the master data of the WINPACCS system with the master data of a company accounting or an ERP system. The web services can be directly contacted by external systems and enable an automatic data exchange. The following master data can be currently exchanged:

Master Data that can be updated by using Web Services

Charts of Accounts

Charts of Accounts

Charts of accounts can be directly transferred from the main accounting to WINPACCS. The WINPACCS system ensures the direct transmission of the charts of accounts to the corresponding local WINPACCS modules.

Projects

Projects

Project master data can be directly transferred from an ERP system to WINPACCS through the project interface. The WINPACCS system ensures the direct transmission of the project master data to the local WINPACCS suite modules.

Countries and Currencies

Countries and Currencies

The main country and currency charts used by the respective organisations can be directly transferred to WINPACCS through web services and are available in each WINPACCS suite module afterwards.

Target Groups

Target Groups

Transmission of target group categories for the distribution of relief goods.

Users and Authorizations

Users and Authorizations

Users and various authorizations can be automatically transferred.

XML Format

XML Format

Data is exchanged in XML format. The XML format is defined by the XML scheme definitions (XSDs) of the available master data.

Plausibility Check

Plausibility Check

Received master data is checked on its validation/plausibility. Afterwards, the master data is signed and stored in the WINPACCS manager in order to distribute it efficiently through WINPACCS communication later on.

Logging of interactions

Logging of interactions

The importing processes/service requests are logged. A summary of the exporting process is sent to the service client (request-response scheme).

While using the web services, data cannot be adjusted manually in the WINPACCS manager. You can request a technical description of the web services here.

The structure of the web service depends on the respective external system. We would be happy to assist you in any query concerning this issue. There is also a range of ready-made components, which enable a quick integration of the web service into your system. Please get in touch with us.
