Seminar WINPACCS® accounting basic
The objective of the seminar is to teach basic knowledge of project accounting and how to use WINPACCS® accounting software. This seminar will enable the participants to make all kinds of accounting transactions within project accounting.
Seminar content
- Basics of project accounting in development cooperation
Working with different currencies, funding sources, account assignment and project internal structures, integration of project accounting into business accounting - Setting-up the master data
Clients, chart of accounts and import of project master data, configuration of journals - Cost and income entries
Assignment of vouchers to chart of accounts and project internal structures - Entry of fund supply, forward funds and transfer of funds
Currencies, average rates, currency exchanges - Changing and reversing vouchers
Additional changes to entries, automatic reversal of vouchers, correcting of entries - Entering receivables and liabilities
Application areas, distinction between expenses and costs - Unsettled items management
Retracing advances - Inventory
Entering, administering and evaluating inventory via cost vouchers, importing inventory from projects and transferring inventory to another project - Reports
Journals, costs/income, lists of balances - End-of-period and new year
Finalising entry periods, adjusting accounts, transferring vouchers to business accounting and project controlling
Used program versions
Until 30.04.2012 seminars on WINPACCS® accounting are based on version 2.3. From 01.05.2012 seminars use WINPACCS® accounting version 3.0.
Target audience
This seminar is designed for accountants working on projects, in regional offices or head offices that already use WINPACCS® accounting or want to learn more about the field of project accounting.
Number of participants
We offer this seminar to a maximum number of 8 participants in order to assure successful learning results.
Participation requirements
Experience in working with computers and MS Windows. Basic knowledge in accounting is helpful, but participants do not need to have an accounting background.
Fees
Germany: 540 € or 490 € for early bookers
Abroad: 780 € or 720 € for early bookers

Germany: 1,090 € or 990 € for early bookers
