German Technical Cooperation

The German Technical Cooperation (GIZ) is a government-owned corporation for international cooperation towards sustainable development with worldwide operations.

In more than 130 partner countries, GIZ is supporting around 2,700 development projects and programmes, chiefly under commissions from the German Federal Government.

Since many years and for all projects around the world, GIZ is using WINPACCS^®, the tailor-made accounting packing for development cooperation.

All local transactions of the project accounting are booked using WINPACCS^® and are then automatically transferred to the headquarters’ SAP system.
