AMBERO Consulting Gesellschaft mbH with its headquarters in Kronberg i.Ts. / Germany was founded in October 2003. The company is a merger of the bureaus IUE Costa Rica, San José and Umwelt&Entwicklung IUE Dr. Amler VBI, Frankfurt/M.

AMBERO offers consultancy and engineering services. As independent firm AMBERO is specialized in quality and customer-oriented services, particularly in the domains of good governance, decentralisation, regional and local development, environmental as well as natural resource and risk management and policy design.

We also have internationally recognized expertise in land use planning, regional, rural and alternative development.

From earlier regional focus areas in Central and South America, we are now increasingly also active in Africa and Asia.

Since April 2009, we use WINPACCS^® in selected projects and in the head office of AMBERO.
